Features:
  • Use as a binder for inorganic materials, to produce molded pieces with outstanding hea resistance and flame retardancy;
  • When burned, little mass is lost, and heating produces very little smoke. The resin is flame retardant and nearly incombustible;
  • Good adhesion to mica and other inorganic materials.

Main Specifications:
  • Exterior: Colorless to pale yellow, transparent, solid
  • Solubility in Toluene (150℃, 1h): Clear and transparent
  • Softening Point (℃): 95~110

Performance and Use:
This product is a solid pure methyl silicone resin with very high silica content. It has excellent heat resistance and produces very little smoke. It has high reactivity, strong adhesive property, high hardness and good scratch resistance.

Scope of Application:
  • Widely used in the insulation bonding of laminates.
  • Widely used in electrical resistance insulation coatings, providing excellent temperature resistance while giving excellent stability (no smoke, no cracking) and scratch resistance.

Construction Reference:
  • If the coating or binder is prepared by the solvent method, it is recommended to use toluene or xylene as the solvent, and the resin is fully dissolved after the resin is dissolved. The dissolution process can be moderately heated (≤60℃), and it is necessary to use a 200 mesh filter cloth before use. Filter and observe if the filtrate are clear.
  • If the resistance insulating coating is prepared by using the powder coating method, it is necessary to ensure sufficient mixing and wrapping of the resin and the pigment filler.

Packaging and Storage:
  • The packaging form is generally 50kg, 25kg plastic lined paper drum;
  • Storage conditions are recommended to be 5~36℃, sealed storage in a cool dry environment, the corresponding shelf life is generally 12 months from the date of production.
